Instructor - adult education (remote)

Fernwood Pike Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Portland, and we need an Instructor to lead our adult education. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about device records. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in device records. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
