Instructor - adult education (Providence, RI)

Rivermark Amber Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Providence, and we need an Instructor to lead our adult education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about tuition and subsidies. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Subject experience in tuition and subsidies. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
