Instructor - adult education (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Birch Health Group and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about referrals. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in referrals. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
