Instructor - adult education (Portland, OR)

Amberfield Juniper Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Portland. We are hiring an Instructor to take on adult education. You would join a large organisation of about 687 people based in Portland. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about visit scheduling. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Subject experience in visit scheduling. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
