Instructor - adult education (Pittsburgh, PA)

Westbrook Glen Health is looking for an Instructor. The job centres on adult education for referrals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 81 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about referrals. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in referrals. • Teaching credential or training certificate.
