Instructor - adult education (Phoenix, AZ)

Ironwood Timber Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Phoenix. We are hiring an Instructor to take on adult education. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about licensing records. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in licensing records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
