Instructor - adult education (Phoenix, AZ)

Ironwood Timber Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Phoenix, and we need an Instructor to lead our adult education. You would join a large organisation of about 849 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about enrolment. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Subject experience in enrolment. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
