Instructor - adult education (Omaha, NE)

Summit Fern Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Omaha, and we need an Instructor to lead our adult education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about care plans. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in care plans. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
