Instructor - adult education (New Orleans, LA)

Highbridge Lantern Medical is a New Orleans company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need an Instructor to lead our adult education. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about training materials. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in training materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
