Instructor - adult education (New Orleans, LA)

Fernwood Juniper Inspection Services Group is an inspection company in New Orleans with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an Instructor to take on adult education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about test reports. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
