Instructor - adult education (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Cross Inspection Services and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about field inspections. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in field inspections. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
