Instructor - adult education (Minneapolis, MN)

Bright Glen Care Services is looking for an Instructor. The job centres on adult education for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 912 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about family communication. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
