Instructor - adult education (Memphis, TN)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Field Staffing and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about retention. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in retention. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
