Instructor - adult education (Las Vegas, NV)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Summit Early Learning and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about enrolment. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
