Instructor - adult education (Knoxville, TN)

Bluepeak Sable Staffing Group places workers with employers around Knoxville. We are hiring an Instructor to take on adult education. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about retention. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in retention. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
