Instructor - adult education (Jackson, MS)

Cedar Corner Medical is a Jackson company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring an Instructor to take on adult education. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about training materials. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in training materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
