Instructor - adult education (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Northwind Cross Health Group and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. You would join a small organisation of about 92 people based in Houston. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about patient education. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in patient education. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
