Instructor - adult education (Honolulu, HI)

Fernwood Mill Care Services Group is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Honolulu, and we need an Instructor to lead our adult education. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about care plans. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in care plans. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
