Instructor - adult education (Hartford, CT)

Greenridge Wren Care Services Group is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Hartford. We are hiring an Instructor to take on adult education. You would join a large organisation of about 557 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about caregiver training. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Subject experience in caregiver training. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
