Instructor - adult education (Detroit, MI)

Ironwood Haven Medical Group is a Detroit company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring an Instructor to take on adult education. You would join a small organisation of about 177 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about complaint handling. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in complaint handling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
