Instructor - adult education (Des Moines, IA)

Redstone Cross Health is a healthcare provider in Des Moines with clinics and support teams, and we need an Instructor to lead our adult education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about patient education. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in patient education. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
