Instructor - adult education (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Union Health and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about insurance authorisations. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
