Instructor - adult education (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Forge Care Services and adding an Instructor whose main responsibility will be adult education. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about care plans. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in care plans. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
