Instructor - adult education (Chicago, IL)

Westbrook Cobalt Early Learning Group operates neighbourhood childcare around Chicago, and we need an Instructor to lead our adult education. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about licensing records. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in licensing records. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
