Instructor - adult education (Chicago, IL)

Amberfield Drift Inspection Services is looking for an Instructor. The job centres on adult education for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about field inspections. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. What we are looking for • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in field inspections. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
