Instructor - adult education (Charleston, SC)

Summit Oak Health provides primary and specialty care in Charleston. We are hiring an Instructor to take on adult education. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about referrals. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. Nice to have • Subject experience in referrals. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
