Instructor - adult education (Birmingham, AL)

Bluepeak Cross Care Services provides in-home and community support in Birmingham. We are hiring an Instructor to take on adult education. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about care plans. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. What we are looking for • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Subject experience in care plans. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
