Instructor - adult education (Baltimore, MD)

Northwind Sparrow Care Services Group provides in-home and community support in Baltimore. We are hiring an Instructor to take on adult education. You would join a large organisation of about 282 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about care plans. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Subject experience in care plans. • Teaching credential or training certificate. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
