Instructor - adult education (Atlanta, GA)

Stonegate Yarrow Care Services supports families and individuals in Atlanta with personal care and coordination. We are hiring an Instructor to take on adult education. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Plan and teach classes to adult learners of mixed experience. • Collect feedback and improve the course each term. • Prepare materials, exercises and assessments about family communication. • Adapt lessons to different learning speeds and backgrounds. • Track attendance and progress and follow up with those who fall behind. What we are looking for • Teaching, coaching or training experience. • Patient, encouraging and clear. • Comfort with slides, handouts and basic online tools. Nice to have • Teaching credential or training certificate. • Subject experience in family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
