HR Business Partner - operations staff (Birmingham, AL)

Harborlight Bright Water Authority is a regional water and sanitation utility serving communities around Birmingham, with about 600 employees in the field and the plant. We are looking for a contract HR business partner. What you will do • Support supervisors at treatment plants and field crews with attendance, discipline and training records. • Help update our job descriptions and pay grades ahead of a compensation review. • Keep our knowledge base of HR policies current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Four or more years in HR, preferably in utilities, public sector or unionised settings. • Direct, fair communication style. Contract, remote-friendly with regular visits to the plant.
