HR Business Partner - onboarding (Wichita, KS)

Bright Lakeside Freight Partners is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
