HR Business Partner - onboarding (Virginia Beach, VA)

Cedar Pike Community Partners is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for volunteer shifts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on volunteer shifts. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
