HR Business Partner - onboarding (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Clear Arts Center and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on school partnerships. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with school partnerships. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
