HR Business Partner - onboarding (Virginia Beach, VA)

Silverline Yarrow Foods produces packaged foods at its Virginia Beach plant, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on sanitation schedules. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
