HR Business Partner - onboarding (Virginia Beach, VA)

Amberfield Junction Press is a printer and publisher in Virginia Beach serving local and national clients. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on press runs. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
