HR Business Partner - onboarding (San Jose, CA)

Amberfield Ivory Inspection Services Partners is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on scheduling. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
