HR Business Partner - onboarding (San Jose, CA)

Stonegate Sable Water Authority Group is a public water utility serving the San Jose area, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on pipe repairs. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
