HR Business Partner - onboarding (San Jose, CA)

Fernwood Bright Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in San Jose. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 116 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on production lots. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with production lots. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
