HR Business Partner - onboarding (San Jose, CA)

Foxglove Wren Freight Partners is a San Jose logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
