HR Business Partner - onboarding (San Jose, CA)

Ironwood Vista Medical Partners is a San Jose company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on clinical evaluations. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with clinical evaluations. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
