HR Business Partner - onboarding (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Sable Property Management and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. We are flexible about schedules. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on resident events. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with resident events. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
