HR Business Partner - onboarding (San Diego, CA)

Summit Juniper Freight is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We reward reliability. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on loads and lanes. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
