HR Business Partner - onboarding (San Diego, CA)

Bluepeak Cedar Civic Services supports public agencies in San Diego with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on budget submissions. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
