HR Business Partner - onboarding (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Bright Quarry Arts Center and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 193 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on visitor services. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with visitor services. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
