HR Business Partner - onboarding (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Iron Insurance Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer complaints. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
