HR Business Partner - onboarding (San Diego, CA)

Foxglove Kestrel Auto Group is a San Diego company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on vehicle inspections. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
