HR Business Partner - onboarding (San Diego, CA)

Lumen Bridge Freight is a San Diego logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on loads and lanes. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
