HR Business Partner - onboarding (Salt Lake City, UT)

Summit Cobalt Construction is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
