HR Business Partner - onboarding (Sacramento, CA)

Foxglove Summit Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Sacramento. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on tuition and subsidies. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
