HR Business Partner - onboarding (Sacramento, CA)

Greenridge Sparrow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Sacramento presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 140 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ticketing. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with ticketing. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
